Most EVs are built for Whole Foods and gentle left turns. The all-new Jeep Recon is built for Worthington State Forest, muddy trailheads, and snow-packed driveways in Denville. It didn't make Nielsen Editorial's list of top electric vehicles for families - but that's probably because it hasn't landed yet. But when it does, it's coming for those polished, soft-road crossovers with mud on the tires and zero apologies.
This all-electric Jeep is here to haul coolers, crush snowbanks, and make school pickup look like a victory lap. Early intel says over 30 cubic feet of cargo space, removable doors, and a flat load floor, all wrapped in trail-rated capability that says, "Yes, I can get to that trailhead after a blizzard."
And while other EVs fine-tune their LED mood lighting, the Recon is out here prepping to climb rocks, cross creeks, and outlast whatever Route 10 throws at it in February.
Still questioning the "family-friendly" label? Whether it's hockey bags, muddy boots, or a dog that thinks he owns the backseat, the Recon is ready. It's the kind of EV that doesn't flinch when the day goes sideways (because in Jersey, that's just called "Tuesday").
